My sacred commitment to live as a creation of God influences every other commitment I make in life. For instance, as a creation of God, when I give my word to another person, I follow through on what I say.

My deepest, most sacred commitment is to God and to my continuing spiritual awakening through prayer. When I keep my commitment to pray daily, I grow in awareness of God within me and within everyone. This is a spiritual connection that lights up the atmosphere around me.

When I come out of prayer time and go back to my busy day, I am prepared to be divinely guided in my choice of thoughts, words, and actions. I make the commitments I intend to keep, and I keep the commitments I make.
